Stay in the Loop

Prizes Offered To Those Helping With Tree Census

Downtown Minneapolis–including the North Loop–is getting greener each year with the addition of new trees along the streets and boulevards.

And to help keep track of how the young trees are doing, the Downtown Improvement District holds an annual Downtown Tree Census, where residents and visitors can help out by providing a little bit of information via text message between November 1-7.

In exchange, the Minneapolis DID is offering Target gift cards as prizes to volunteers who help provide information on the most trees.

If you’d like to take part, you’ll find all the information here.
